Sears Tower to open glass bottom box at 1300 feet

In July, the Sears Tower Skydeck will open "the ledge", its newest attraction.

The "ledge" is a glass box extending 4.3 feet out over the edge of the 103rd floor, offering an unobstructed view of the city. Up to 5 guests at a time will be able to stand on the inch and a half thick glass.

I have a lot of faith in structural engineers, but I'm just not sure I'd feel entirely comfortable stepping out on this thing? Would you?

David Hasselhoff Alcohol Poisoning; Rushed To Hospital

The Hoff nearly off’d himself this time!

David Hasselhoff -- the former Baywatch hunk -- was rushed to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical center  Saturday after his distraught daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, California.  This time the rescuer was his ex-wife actress Pamela Bach from whom he’s been bitterly estranged.

Hayley called her mom, who lives 10 minutes away in the Hollywood Hills and she rushed to the rescue and drove him to the hospital where doctors yet again saved his life.

This time the vodka-guzzling “America’s Got Talent” judge registered a staggering .39. alcohol level. Drunk driving in California is 08.  This is about the 7th time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning. How many visits will it take before he dies?”  We wish him a speedy recovery and good health but he really needs to turn his life around.

Will Clark Fly in "Smallville" Season Finale?

E! Online's "Watch with Kristin" Spoiler Chat has one interesting "Smallville" spoiler this week regarding the "No Tights. No Flights" rule...

Is it true that Clark is finally gonna fly this season on Smallville?

There's no proper flying or supersuit this season, but there will be a Smallville "leap" that goes above and beyond a tall building - but it isn't actually flying. Sorry Superfans.

In case you were wondering, the next new episode of "Smallville" (titled Injustice) airs in the U.S. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 with the season finale (titled Doomsday) airing May 14, 2009.  A season finale that will claim TWO lives!

I think the key words here are "There's no proper flying or supersuit this season" this does leave open NEXT season which I think it's when we will see Clark Fly, and eventually in the suit... They can't keep having him do what he does without the suit, and if he's going to be flying watching in in the suit will be super cool!

I think the show will push for 10 seasons (Tom Welling signed a 2 year contract) if season 9 has the ratings the last few have had then count on a season 10, and I think it would be neat to have him put the suit on by mid way thru next season, and then season 10 have an entire season with him in the Suit... Which would be a nice way to end the series if 10 seasons is indeed the end.

Barack Obama's CHILL Pills!!! (First 100 Days)

President Barack Obama has been in office 100 days and has some advice for the people who've criticized his every step. Take a chill pill... literally.  Now I don't know how any of you reading my blog feel but this guy is totally hilarious and way better than the guy on SNL.
