Should VH1 air it's reality show I Love Money 3?

With the death of Ryan Jenkins — accused of murdering his ex-wife and found over the weekend an apparent suicide — a question arises.

Should his new, as-yet-unaired TV project be shown? Jenkins, who appeared on VH1’s Megan Wants A Millionaire, was also a participant in the upcoming VH1 reality show I Love Money 3.

An Associated Press report says that VH1 has of now “made no decision” whether it will air Money 3 in the wake of the murder of Jasmine Fiore and Jenkins’ alleged suicide.

But do you think VH1 should air I Love Money 3? Will this just serve to make an accused murderer more famous? Or do you think, as the saying goes, the show must go on?

In a shocking display of decency, VH1 has caved. (see below)

VH1 announced today that it has cancelled Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3. Both series featured contestant Ryan Jenkins, who was found dead this weekend in a Canadian motel and was wanted by Orange County police in connection to the recent murder of his wife, model Jasmine Fiore.

Kid Vlogs From Apple Store, We Smell a New Commercial Campaign

Kids. They grow up so fast these days, with the Twitter and the MySpace and Tamagotchi and sports drinks. You've gotta hand it to them, though: they've got their technology and they know how to use it.

Which is why the dense YouTube account of Nicholifavs, filled with a kid who vlogs exclusively from New York City's Fifth Avenue Apple Store, is merely a natural progression in the realm of Things Kids Do Now.

If, indeed, this is a viral marketing ploy by Apple, then hats off. And if it isn't, Apple had better snatch him up quick. Justin Long, meet your match. Check out this guys youtube & myspace links below. He's awesome!

Ben Stiller and Mickey Rooney Discuss Twitter

Since there might be a slight disconnect between the senior citizen sect and burgeoning technology (specifically computers and online social networking) Ben Stiller recently sat down with Hollywood icon Mickey Rooney to discuss the finer points of Twitter. After explaining that "you can instantly talk to people," Stiller fields several pertinent questions from Rooney, felt by the majority of Twitter newbs, like "How do you get caught up on tweets?" and "Can children do it?"

After, Stiller explains that, "I think only children who are supervised can do it," Rooney demonstrates that he is still very much in touch with the family Internet dynamic by responding with "I think you're dreaming when you say that." The exchange is a great interaction between two big screen stalwarts, and Rooney even offers a promising tag line that Twitter could perhaps use in advertising campaigns. "Don't hit her, twitter!" Well, maybe not.

The Economy's Tragic Consequences: Murder-Suicide in a Foreclosed Home

The murder-suicide in tiny Dumfries, Va., was tragic enough, but even more scary if we believe the friends and neighbors' explanations for what may have been the motivation.

As the politicians endlessly debate the fine points of regulation and rescue and take their contributions from the banks that drag their feet in extending mortgage lifelines, family agencies across the country report a jump in calls about domestic abuse.

Again, banks taking federal bailout funds and yet NOT helping the people that need it.  I think that these banks should be held accountable for the mental anguish that they have caused or are causing for persons who really are in need of assistance.

Ryan Jenkins Found Dead in Motel Room

The international manhunt for accused killer Ryan Jenkins is over.

Canadian authorities confirmed Sunday night that Jenkins, sought in the brutal murder of his wife, bikini model Jasmine Fiore, was found dead at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, near Vancouver.

Jenkins was wanted in California on first-degree murder charges. He was found dead by motel staff and identified by fingerprinting.

Fiore's mutilated body was found in a suitcase in Buena Park, Calif., on Aug. 15. The platinum blonde Playboy model's fingers and teeth had been cut off and pulled out to prevent identification, but she was IDed by the serial numbers of her breast implants.

Jenkins was a finalist on the VH1 show, Megan Wants A Millionaire, which has since been yanked off the air.

Although Simon Cowell is usually difficult to impress, one contestant on UK's 'The X Factor' managed to blow away the judge. 27-year-old Danyl Johnson hit the stage with an energetic performance of The Beatles' 'With a Little Help from My Friends.'

Cowell smiled and clapped during the audition, finally giving a standing ovation.

"That was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard," Cowell said. "He could be one of the best contestants we've ever had," Cowell added.
