The Hot Jon & Kate Train Mess Continues

Jon to Kate: "I Was an Avoider and I Didn't Communicate Properly"

Jon Gosselin -- who is trying to halt production of his estranged wife Kate's TLC reality show -- says he is to blame for his family's recent turn of events. Oh, and when did you first figure that out yah A-hole?

"Kate, I just want to apologize for my actions. I'm sorry," the father of eight, 32, tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing Friday. "You know that I was an avoider and I didn't communicate properly. And now I have to take initiative. Let's both go together, let's mediate this thing out."

Jon also said he's "apologized" to his eight children — 5-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin and 8-year-old twins, Cara and Mady — because he can't be "with them" all the time.

He added that they're aware of the media scrutiny, but he has yet to get into specific details about his life. He said he is "getting counseling ... because I don't really know what to say to them that won't hurt them or harm them in any way."

On Thursday, Jon told Larry King that he wants to stall his divorce from Kate and "become friends. I want us to figure out our marriage and I don't want it to be filmed anymore."

But Kate's attorney Mark Momjian said that the divorce would not be delayed.

Autopsy: Jackson Healthy, Tattooed, Bald

His weight was normal. His heart was strong. Besides a case of arthritis, damaged lungs and a skin disease that reduced pigment in his body, Michael Jackson was actually a pretty healthy 50-year-old man. Those are just some of the fascinating findings in an autopsy report that was leaked to the Associated Press this week.

Perhaps most surprising, though, were the bizarre autopsy details pertaining to Jackson's exterior.

-- There were dark tattoos on his eyebrows and around his eyes, a pink tattoo around his lips and what appeared to be a dark tattoo on the front of his scalp stretching from ear too ear.

-- He was balding, with his remaining hair described as short and tightly curled.

-- He indeed suffered from a skin disease that reduced pigment and left patches of white skin around his chest, abdomen, face and arms.

-- He had multiple scars around his body, including behind his ears, along one shoulder, at the base of his neck and near his navel.

The coroner has ruled Jackson's death at age 50 a homicide with his death caused by acute intoxication of the anesthetic propofol with other sedatives a contributing factor. The coroner found the propofol was administered without any medical need and that recommended resuscitation equipment was missing.

The autopsy findings block a potential defense for Murray - that Jackson hid serious pre-existing conditions that increased the risk of death from the drugs he willingly took.

"It clearly establishes that Michael Jackson was a healthy person whose death appears to have been directly caused by the administration of some very powerful sedatives," said criminal defense attorney and former federal prosecutor Mark Werksman. "This autopsy report seems to clear the path for a prosecution that his death was caused by an overdose."

The Los Angeles County coroner's report shows Jackson's weight of 136 pounds was in the acceptable range for a 5-foot-9 man. His heart was strong with no sign of plaque buildup. His kidneys and most other major organs were normal.

Still, the singer did have health issues, many of them age related, including arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries. Most serious was the condition of his lungs, which the autopsy report said were chronically inflamed and had reduced capacity that might have left him short of breath.

OH'BAM! Talk about getting dissed! :Rio Gets the Gold for 2016 Olympics

To quote Kanye. "Chi-Town, I'm proud of you and Imma let you finish, but RIO is the best city of all time!"

Finally, South America gets an Olympics. The 2016 Games are going to Rio de Janeiro.

In a vote of high drama, the bustling Brazilian carnival city of beaches, mountains and samba beat surprise finalist Madrid, which got a big helping hand from a very influential friend.

Chicago was knocked out in the first round — in one of the most shocking defeats ever in International Olympic Committee voting. Even Tokyo, which had trailed throughout the race, did better — eliminated after Chicago in the second round.

Rio spoke to IOC members' consciences: the city argued that it was simply unfair that South America has never hosted the games, while Europe, Asia and North America have done so repeatedly.

"It is a time to address this imbalance," Brazil's charismatic president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, told the IOC's members before they voted. "It is time to light the Olympic cauldron in a tropical country."

Could it be that the luster of Obama is cooling off? And if so what does it mean at home??

James Franco is headed for 'General Hospital'; big screen star will have recurring, 2-month role

Paging Dr. Franco.

Actor James Franco is headed for "General Hospital." He'll play a recurring role on the long-running ABC daytime series for two months staring Nov. 20, coinciding with Nov. sweeps, reports the Associated Press.

And though the "General Hospital" crew is keeping tight-lipped about the particulars of his role, Franco's character will supposedly be the "worst nightmare" for Jason Morgan, a mob crook character who's played by Emmy winner Steve Burton, according to Fancast.com. Insiders say that the fact that Burton and Franco share the same manager is pure coincidence, and deny rumors that Franco will return permanently to the small screen.

Franco got his start on TV with the late '90s cult favorite "Freaks and Geeks," in which he played Daniel Desario, a leading "freak" on the short-lived series.

He's gone on to major roles in films such as "Pineapple Express," Oscar-winner "Milk," and the top-grossing "Spider-Man" franchise. His portrayal of beat-generation literary bad boy Allen Ginsberg, in the film "Howl," arrives on the big screen in 2010.

Franco's arrival in fictional Port Charles is not the only shake-up happening on the daytime drama. Earlier this week, Jonathan Jackson, seen most recently on Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," announced he'd be returning on October 27 to revive the role of Lucky Spencer — a character he originated. Sarah Joy Brown, on the other hand, has made a daring move: she's leaving her role as Claudia on "General Hospital" for rival CBS series "The Bold and the Beautiful."
