Ten U.S. Baptists detained trying to take 33 children out of earthquake-shattered Haiti without government permission

Ok, my first comment on this story is that these people came all the way from IDAHO to rescue orphans?
I mean like ok, let me not be to cynical here but I just don't get it. Not to mention these guys don't look
to be dressed like "christian" ministers to me more like a)cult followers or b) opportunist trying to traffic the
children out of the country. Just something in these guys eyes just doesn't sit well with me. I still can't get
over the fact of leaving from IDAHO to bring orphans across the border. Did a church in Haiti even call
for their help? If not then WHY are they even there? I think the Red Cross and other organizations are in
a much better position to help the people of Haiti. I would like to help the children of Haiti but you don't
see me boarding a plane to the Dominican Republic and making my way into Haiti to rescue orphans - why?
Because that's the governments job.

I hope someone gets to the bottom of this and can make sense out of this because right now I'm just seeing
a whole lot of crazy.

'Jersey Shore' Cast, MTV Strike Deal

MTV gave The Situation, Snooki, Pauly D and the rest of the crew a deadline of today at the end of business, or else they'd all be replaced. We know the offer on the table was $10,000 per episode ... we do not know the magic number that ended the stalemate.

We're told lawyers are trying to work out specific language and terms and they're all hoping they can put a bow on it tonight.

We've learned Vinny accepted MTV's $10,000 per episode offer. We're told one of the terms the lawyers are hammering out is the number of appearances the cast can make outside the show. Cast members -- especially Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation -- want the right to appear at as many as four clubs and other venues a week ... where they've been raking in good money in appearance fees.
