New York Comic Con kicks off next week, but today brings the convention news you’ve probably been waiting to hear: In a special Saturday presentation, Marvel Studios will reveal never-before-seen footage from The Avengers.
The panel, set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, will feature stars Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders, plus Marvel Studios president and Avengers producer Kevin Feige. The movie, which should need little introduction, opens May 4, 2012.
The sixth annual New York Comic Con will be held Oct. 13-16 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Last year’s show was massive, attracting 96,000 attendees. With The Avengers in the mix, the turnout this year may be even bigger. Fans can still buy tickets directly from the event’s website, although the press release notes that only a limited number of four-day tickets are still available.
