Hexing co-workers

Have a bad day?  Boss getting on your nerves?
In Hong Kong, people are getting back at bad bosses by hexes.

Can't afford a home? Rent a walk-in closet

Sergio Santos, is a man in Florida who lives in a 75-square foot closet. "It's all about savings. It's about recycling. It's about optimizing my time," he said.

He was having trouble making the payment on a larger pad, so he downsized far more than most people would ever dream of. He spent $64 furnishing the place, and pays $150 a month in rent. He did all the work with recycled materials, and even managed to add an "upstairs loft bedroom."

Yes, he actually called his sleeping quarters in his 75-square foot closet an upstairs loft bedroom -- he could well have a future as a New York City real estate agent!

In any case, the clip is quite inspiring -- especially if you're dissatisfied with your current digs.

Sarah Palin: Obama Girls Off Limits, Why Aren't Mine?

Gov. Sarah Palin came out smiling, but swinging, on an appearance on the 'Today' show last week. Ostensibly an interview about the Alaska natural gas pipeline and the future of the Republican party, the conversation quickly turned to David Letterman's comment that Palin looks like "a slutty flight attendant," and his remarks about Palin's daughter, Willow.

Matt Lauer defended Letterman at one point saying Letterman, "did not mention Willow by name," to which Palin said, "I would say that you and anybody else are extremely naïve to believe David Letterman's extremely convenient excuse....Regardless, it was a degrading comment about a young woman."

When Lauer asked if Palin's response to Letterman, that he couldn't be trusted around Willow, was in bad taste, Palin said, "Take it however you want to take it."

Other quotable moments:

"The problem is the double standard that has been applied here. Remember in the campaign, Barack Obama said 'family's off limits, do not talk about my family,' and 'the Candidate Who Must Be Obeyed,' everybody adhered to that and they did leave his family alone. They didn't do that on the other side of the ticket, and it has continued to this day."

"He doesn't have to apologize to me. I would like to see him to apologize to young women across the country for contributing to that thread throughout our culture that makes it seem OK to talk about young girls in that way, where it's OK, accepted and funny to talk about statutory rape. It's not cool and it's not funny."

"This so-called humor, I don't find it humorous."

Judge for yourselves.  The video is below
