FIRST LOOK: Heather Locklear’s Fierce Return to Melrose Place

She’s back!

In an exclusive clip from Heather Locklear’s first episode of the CW’s Melrose Place revamp, her character Amanda Woodward makes a dramatic (and fashionable!) surprise return to offices of WPK Public Relations, walking in on Caleb (Victor Webster) and Ella (Katie Cassidy) as they’re discussing the launch party for their client Riley (Jessica Lucas) and and her new jeans campaign.

While Ella is convinced all she needs to do for the event is “drink the free champagne,” her boss tells her, “You’re doing this … under direct orders from New York.”

“Oh, well you can tell New York that when we’re looking for their opinion, we’ll ask,” she fires back.

Her timing couldn’t be worse. In walks Amanda, who says, “Why don’t you tell New York yourself?” Close your mouth, Ella!

“You know how I love surprises,” a stunning Amanda continues. “This L.A. branch is drowning in red like a steer in a slaughter house. Now when I hired you to give this place a makeover, I didn’t mean smeer it with lipstick and turn it into a five-dollar hooker.” Zing!

ABC Cancels 'Eastwick,'

'Eastwick' will no longer cast a spell on ABC.

The network has reportedly chosen not to order any additional episodes of the bewitching series, starring Rebecca Romijn, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the meantime, ABC says that it will finish filming the remaining episodes under the show's 13-episode order. These episodes will in fact see the light of day -- at some point, anyway.

Eastwick has already been bumped for the next two weeks. The CMA Awards will air this Wednesday, followed by an exclusive interview with Janet Jackson on Nov. 18. That means the first of the six remaining episodes wouldn't even hit our screens until at least Nov. 25, assuming ABC sticks to its current schedule.

Considering that ABC is building a pretty strong lineup of shows on Wednesdays ('Modern Family'; 'Cougar Town'), it might not be a bad idea to think about replacing 'Eastwick' immediately.

There lies the question: If ABC were to move 'Eastwick,' where would it go? And more importantly: What would replace it on the schedule? Eventually, the network will run out of interviews and awards shows to fill the immediate void. So, why not consider a potentially life-saving switch with 'Ugly Betty'?

Fridays have become a dumping ground for shows (just ask 'Betty.' last week, the show drew in a measly 4.8 million viewers, after a previous all-time low). And with 'Eastwick' already getting the boot, it can't hardly do much worse than 'Betty' is doing now. So, why not give 'Betty' another shot in a new time slot, if only to see whether the old girl still has some life left in her? She did just get a new makeover after all.

40 Years of Sesame Street

Can you tell me how to get - how to get to Sesame Street? How many of us can recall that song? And now it's been 40 years and going strong. I for one truly loved watching Sesame Street and I know that my nieces and nephews watch it today and find the same excitement in doing so.

Sesame Street was such a learning experience for me growing up. Who can forget how they spoke about topics that were hard for children to deal with. From death to life threatening illness the members of Sesame Street helped our children to cope in times when we as adults and parents were at a loss for words ourselves.

Congratulations to Sesame Street - and may there be 40 more years!!!
