'Jersey Shore' star The Situation 'larger than Kim Kardashian'?

Someone may be getting a little too big for his swim trunks. When Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino of MTV's "The Jersey Shore" recently tried to make a deal, he demanded an outrageous half million dollars up front, UsMagazine.com reported. The broker said that he wouldn't even give that much money to Kim Kardashian. However, The Situation's manager must not have caught the

drift.

"His manager's words were: 'The Situation is much larger than Kim Kardashian,'" the source said. "We all laughed." Sorrentino, 28, has more than just parties and random hookups in Seaside Heights lined up to feed his ego. He also has a gig on "Dancing with the Stars" in the works, which will reportedly rake in $100,000 for the star. "Right now, my genre is reality. And I think I'm at the top of my class," Sorrentino told Us. He reportedly ditched his friends and costars of the MTV hit to hang out at his posh condo with his "Dancing With the Stars" crew. That ego hasn't been sitting well with his 'Shore' co-stars, either.

"One time he's a jerkoff and another time he's nice," castmate Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi said of abs-obsessed reality star. "Mike thinks he's the s---."

Maybe the ego-bashing co-stars should take a look in the mirror - or contract - every once in a while. Snooki isn't doing too badly herself, charging an astounding $20,000 to walk the red carpet at an event in addition to the $25,000 each cast member makes per show, Us reported. She also has a book and pouf-perfecting hair products in the works. Jenni (J-WOWW) Farley has a line called Filthy Couture coming out to help fund her lifestyle as a notorious 'guidette'. Sammi Giancola reportedly earns $15k for event appearances and has beauty and fitness products coming out. Angelina Pivarnick is the lowest paid, earning $5k for appearances, according to Us. Paul (Pauly D) Delvecchio is another cast member making bank, reportedly earning $20,000 to DJ events. Ronnie Oritz-Magro is said to host parties for $12-20k, and Vinny Guadagnino supposedly gets a humble $6,000 just to show up at parties. Snookie insists that the cast does more than just party and make absurd amounts of money doing so. She admits to enjoying her peace and quiet, recently saying on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she'll "go to frickin' Barnes & Nobles, get a coffee and just sit down and read. No one would ever think that. We have different sides to us and people don't see that."

Jersey Shore Gets Pumped in GQ Magazine Shoot

Very few people can get the guys of "Jersey Shore" to ditch their signature "guido" style. But when GQ was calling, Paul (DJ Pauly D) DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino came running, ready to ditch their signature looks for chic gym attire for the magazine's October issue.

In the issue, the "Jersey Shore" men dished out some of their workout advice, self-help tips and reveal their biggest workout pet peeves.

When given the option of either hitting the gym or going to the tanning salon within a two-hour time frame the day before taking a date on a cruise, the cast mates differed in opinion.

"Tanning bed. You look more toned when you're tan," Pauly D answered.

The Situation countered, "Gonna have to say the gym. Just get tan on the boat."

As for the lamest things guys will do in the gym, Vinny said he doesn't like when people walk around talking the whole time.

"If you're at the gym, you should be working out," said Vinny, who used to be a personal trainer before his "Shore" days.

Agrees Pauly D, "I'm trying to get my set in, you're talking, I'm losing my pump!"

While most agree that it's okay to stare in the mirror during a workout ("to make sure you're doing everything properly," explains Ronnie), Pauly nixed the idea of turning to a personal trainer for help.

"Sometimes I look at the trainers at the gym, and I look better than them," he says. "I'm not gonna take advice from somebody who doesn't look better than me, bro."

He added, "It was my birthday this weekend, and these girls put cake on my body and ate it off. One girl said, "You have the nicest chest I ever ate cake off." I got pictures to prove it. I'll send 'em to you."
