What is going on over at Toyota -- Is this just the TIP of the Iceberg?

The current Toyota Mark consists of three ovals: the two perpendicular center ovals represent a relationship of mutual trust between the customer and Toyota. These ovals combine to symbolize the letter "T" for Toyota. The space in the background implies a global expansion of Toyota's technology and unlimited potential for the future.

Well that is all well in good in times when you are not in crisis BUT Toyota is in a time of crisis right now - They've recalled 8.1 million vehicles to an estimated cost of $2 billion dollars and now their is a federal probe into the brakes on the Prius. A situation like this is a PR nightmare for any company and more so for one like Toyota.

Toyota is Japanese company owned by a Japanese family (Toyoda) but you'd never know it from their lack of media presence during this current recall crisis. Akio Toyoda is said to have strongly held views on the importance of quality and reliability of Toyota products and yet even he has not appeared in any of the recent media press events.

If Toyota is to save it's reputation it needs to speak frankly with the US customer. Just the family making an appearance and speaking before the customers and media would go a long way to foster good will and at least help the drivers of Toyota's to understand the issue. It would also give Toyota a human face, the same way having the Ford family speak for FORD at times during Ford's Bold Moves campaign & documentary webisode series.

Casey Johnson Died of Natural Causes

Casey Johnson died of natural causes, the Los Angeles coroner has ruled.

The specific cause of death was "diabetic ketoacidosis," a condition caused by a shortage of insulin, according to a coroner statement.

The Johnson & Johnson heiress, 30, who recently got engaged to reality TV star Tila Tequila, was found dead in her L.A. home on Jan. 4.

Johnson had suffered from severe diabetes since childhood.

Shortly after her death, a law enforcement source told PEOPLE that hypodermic needles were found in the home, and they suspected Johnson partied the night before she died and neglected to take her insulin. No illicit drugs were found.

The heiress left behind her adopted daughter, Ava, 3, who will live with Johnson's mother Sale and her husband Ahmad Rashad "for the foreseeable future," according to a family source.

Days of Our Lives Matriarch Dies at 95

Days of Our Lives matriarch Frances Reid, who played Alice Horton on the long-running soap, died Wednesday at the age of 95.

Reid appeared last on NBC's hit show in December of 2007. She also had roles on As the World Turns and The Edge of Night.

"I'm so sad to hear the news about Frances Reid," Tweeted actress Alison Sweeney, who plays Sami on Days. "She was a truly talented actress and we are all lucky and proud to have known her."

Reid played the silver-haired, mild-mannered matriarch of the show’s Horton clan since 1965 – a role she initially turned down.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Reid was raised in Berkeley, Calif., and later moved to New York to pursue her acting career on the stage. She landed roles in Cyrano de Bergerac, Hamlet and Twelfth Night.

Her character on Days was seemingly killed off by the show’s Salem Stalker in 2004, but it turned out to be a hoax and she returned later the same year.

Reid won the Daytime Emmy's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 and was married to late actor Philip Bourneuf for 43 years. She had no children.

Brittany Murphy's death ruled an accident

Actress Brittany Murphy's death was an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and "multiple drug intoxication," the Los Angeles County coroner said Thursday.

No information was given about what types of drugs were involved.

The coroner issued a short statement on his findings Thursday and said the autopsy report would be available within two weeks.

What do you think? Have any home remedies you'd like to offer up?

Pushy Train Passenger on the Metro North train to Grand Central Station

Ok well today I had yet another episode with a very pushy passenger on the Metro North Train to Grand Central Station.

I mean come on, this behemoth (yes, she is built like a Yeti and looks like one too!) she could probably be a quarterback for the NY Giant's come to think of it, is pushing up at my back even before the door of the train opens and blows passed the side of me and to others to emerge first from the train.

I understand a person being in a hurry to get somewhere but this young lady is just plain rude! I mean she does it every day and almost trampled over a older woman several weeks ago. And let us not forget about the other smaller version of her who we've fondly called "METRO-SMURF" to her "METRO-YETI" who acts like a Speedy Gonzales in her own right.

What can we do to end this? Today I personally suggested that perhaps we should clothes line her (METRO-YETI). LOL

Tomorrow I have decided to call her out in front of everyone on the train should she try to dart past us again.

Dr. OZ talks frank to Carnie Wilson about her weight

As one third of the 90's group Wilson Phillips, Carnie Wilson speaks with Dr. Oz who gets real with her about her weight.

Carnie had undergone some gastric bypass surgery in the past as well as trying numerous diets. As a result, she went from a size 28 to a size 6 and lost 150 pounds. In 2003 she posed nude for Playboy to display her new body. Carnie later toured TV talk shows and hosted her own infomercial to publicize her satisfaction with the procedure. However, she eventually gained back some weight and ended up as a contestant on the fourth season of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club in 2006. Over the course of the show she lost 22 pounds, which she has eventually gained back.

We wish her luck in managing her eating disorder and encourage her to take on a more change of life approach in loosing weight by eating healthy and exercising.

Friend of slain lottery winner arrested on accessory charges

A Florida woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a lottery millionaire, whose body was found buried under recently added concrete at a home, authorities said.

Dorice Donegan Moore, 37, was arrested Tuesday evening on charges of accessory after the fact regarding a first-degree murder in the death of Abraham Shakespeare, 43, said Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee.

Moore befriended Shakespeare after he won a $31 million Florida lottery prize in 2006 and was named a person of interest in the case after Shakespeare went missing, authorities said.

Before her arrest, Moore proclaimed her innocence during a tearful, impromptu news conference outside her home. She said was planning to help Shakespeare write a book about the challenges of winning millions and that she was helping him manage the money.

Shakespeare was killed on April 6 or April 7, and Moore has admitted trying to convince Shakespeare's family members that he was still alive, Gee said.

"In December 2009, Dorice Moore wrote a letter to the victim's mother, claiming to be the victim and to be all right," Gee said. "Dorice Moore also used the victim's cell phone and sent text messages to the victim's family."

Deputies found Shakespeare's body outside a home in Plant City late January after receiving a tip from an associate of Moore
