Josie Bissett, who played Jane Andrews Mancini from 1992 to 1999 on the original Melrose Place, will reprise her role with a guest-starring appearance this fall on The CW's reboot of the classic soap. Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro, who respectively played Jane's scheming sister Sydney and scheming husband Michael, previously signed on as part of the new cast.
I hope this show won't be a watered down version of the original ala 90210 and will give more airtime to the original cast. I'm excited to see Josie back on Melrose - don't screw it up, CW! :)
ReplyDeleteI must say Calabro looks great. He doesn't look any older than when the show ended a decade ago.
ReplyDeleteI very, very much expected this to happen. It would only make sense that Jane would come back to somehow take part in either Sydney being brought back or ultimately killed.
