Octo-Mom Signs Reality TV Deal, Kids to Earn $250 a Day
It's official: Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman's kids are coming to a TV near you. Now come on, it's been like 30 days so you know it was time for the Octo-Mom to rear her ugly head again. I must admit it's genius, she wouldn't have gotten any media attention coming out during the deaths of Farrah Fawcett & Michael Jackson so coming out right alongside the death of the Taco Bell dog makes perfect sense.
Suleman signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality show, according to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday.
The contracts -- which still require a judge's approval -- guarantee the kids will collectively earn nearly $250,000 over the next three years. They'll receive $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year.
Eyeworks will produce the show, according to court documents. The company is also behind Breaking Bonaduce and The Biggest Loser. The Sulemans begin taping Sept. 1. Maybe for a season finale we can mix in a cross over with Jon & Kate + Eight and leave off with a cliffhanger that will make The Brady Bunch look like a normal everyday family!

Im sorry... how is she any different from the Goselins??? She said Kate was a bad mom & blah, blah, blah... and now she is doing the exact same thing!!!! I will not watch her looney bin show!!
ReplyDeleteShe is a nast looking women & it is horrible she exploits her kids for money. DO NOT watch this show look at Jon & Kate & what it does. Nadya get a life & you should not have had kids you ugly piece of garbage! what a horrible mom.
ReplyDeleteeveryone should boycott this show!! Talk about exploiting you kids...I can't stand that dumba$$ biotch!!
ReplyDeleteI will def. watch. I gotta see a man go on a date with her and then run screaming once he realizes she has a million kids. priceless entertainment.
ReplyDeleteSo the message here? Be on welfare, have 14 babies, go begging to the public to help support them and you too can become a tv star and never have to work for the rest of your life. Nice. There will be another octomom in 9 months, just wait.
ReplyDeleteTrash tv for trashy people. Who else would want to sit down and watch a bunch of kids potty training, etc. It's sick.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe a judge will let her do that. She is an idiot and was seen buying expensive cosmetics while the state paid for her premature children. We watched the Gosselin family self destruct...who would want to watch an incompetent mother who is fond of calling 911? Unreal!!
ReplyDeleteNobody has put a stop to Jon and Kate, Duggars, or Raising Sextuplets, so therefore they will continue, and all who watch are to blame. People picket, demonstrate and everything else for every cause, but for children. To sign a 3 year contract, they must be pretty sure this show will work, I would never watch anything with Bonaduce, and the Loser show I never watched, so I am glad I have never supported this Network or company, putting this on.
ReplyDeleteIt's better than going on Welfare. Besides, the court has to approve the hours, etc., so why not give her a chance.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dislike Nadya (I will not watch the show), I'm not going to complain. At least she will not be requiring much, if any, public assistance. What other kind of job can a mother of 14 get? For $250 a day, I would hope that the kids won't be "working" but a few hours and that ALL their money is put in a trust for them.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the stipulations is going to be the kids will each need an individual bank account that cannot be touched into they're of age... I don't think the judge will sign off otherwise. Also, I think it's a great idea, it's only 3 years and 2 months of shooting in those 3 years. Let's all be realistic, we don't agree w/ what she did but those kids need to be provided for! She has 14 kids - and it's her fault she has them - now she needs to support them - so we should let her!
