Since there might be a slight disconnect between the senior citizen sect and burgeoning technology (specifically computers and online social networking) Ben Stiller recently sat down with Hollywood icon Mickey Rooney to discuss the finer points of Twitter. After explaining that "you can instantly talk to people," Stiller fields several pertinent questions from Rooney, felt by the majority of Twitter newbs, like "How do you get caught up on tweets?" and "Can children do it?"
After, Stiller explains that, "I think only children who are supervised can do it," Rooney demonstrates that he is still very much in touch with the family Internet dynamic by responding with "I think you're dreaming when you say that." The exchange is a great interaction between two big screen stalwarts, and Rooney even offers a promising tag line that Twitter could perhaps use in advertising campaigns. "Don't hit her, twitter!" Well, maybe not.
