Sarah Palin Book to Hit Stores Nov. 17

Call her what you like, but she's definitely a fast writer.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has already finished her memoir, titled Going Rogue: An American Life, and has a newly moved-up launch date for its publication – Nov. 17 for a whopping 1.5 million copies, the Christian Science Monitor reports.

The 400-page memoir from HarperCollins, which Palin wrote with noted ghostwriter Lynn Vincent, was completed in a swift four months, at last part of which Palin spent in an intense retreat in San Diego, Calif.

The title of Palin's book is also notable, as it's the term that advisors to Sen. John McCain used to mock the former vice presidential nominee during the 2008 presidential elections, describing some of the many complaints the McCain camp allegedly had for the candidate's running mate.

Despite her speedy wrap-up of her book, Palin, 45, has a lot to cover in her tale, from her beauty-pageant beginnings, to her selection by McCain, to revelations of her daughter Bristol's pregnancy, to her falling-out with Bristol's baby's father, Levi Johnston – who has accused the ex-governor of being far from the simple American wife and mom she claims to be. Neither Palin nor Vincent has commented on the contents of the text.

Palin is considered a favorite of many social conservatives for the 2012 presidential election, though she will not confirm her future plans.

  1. I hear the audience of her recent speech in Hong Kong was very impressed with her speech. That's interesting, in light of the Palin haters in our country always trying to convince themselves that she is dumb, or uneducated, or whatever hare brained idiocy they are peddling on any given day.

Gee, I wonder which group has the higher average IQ, education, life achievements, and knowledge of the way things work in a functional society: Politics Daily Lie-berals, or a group of business owners, diplomats, media people, etc. from Hong Kong, Japan, and many other countries.

I guess this kind of nukes the accusation that Palin isn't up to foreign policy, or that foreign countries are somehow dismissive of her. Biden can't string together three sentences in a row that aren't filled with bogus facts, delusional observations, and revisionist history.

This book is going to be a blockbuster, and she's going to make many millions on it. Good for her! Bad for the punks that have been harassing her. Now she'll have the ready cash to sue the piss out of the leftist losers. I can hardly wait.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden has been assigned to being a hall monitor in the Whitehouse. They were worried he'd screw it up, so he has an assistant helping him. Look at Joe go! He created a job! The only one Obama's scheme has produced so far.

  2. Sarah Palin has more integrity and class in her little finger than all the Libs combined.

The Lefty's called her quitter, well I guess Van Jones was a 'quitter' also, but the Lefty's never gave him that label, in fact they swept it under the rug, and nothing else has been said about it.

    She is a Patriot.

I agree, she was not VP material and I still feel John McCain and his illustrious Aides, threw her to the wolves, and for that, I will always hold that against him. It was a lame attempt to take "Hillary" votes. Obama bought and paid for Hillary, and Bill was thrown in the deal, after all, you never break up a 'matched set'.

    I wish her well.
