Janet Jackson, Jamie Foxx and Others Pay Tribute to Michael at BET Awards

After his sudden death, Michael Jackson was honored at the BET Awards over the weekend.
Jackson's sister and father, Janet and Joe, were at the ceremony to pay tribute to the late King of Pop.
"I wish the world had recognized him when he was living. Right now, he's bigger than ever. But I wish he was here to see all this, to hear all this," Joe Jackson said on the red carpet for the event.
At the end of the show, Janet stepped out on the stage to honor her brother.
"My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was too painful. To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family. He will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love, thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much," Janet said tearfully.

  1. It's just so sad that he has passed away. Not to mention the media circus that is already beginning to roar it's head. I tell you so many people are getting things wrong. One moment somebody is saying that this one was looking over the house for money when in fact they were watching the kids and a delivery came for food and so they asked "where he kept the money" because they had none on them since they had rushed over to care for the kids and then people try to make it look like his family was just there to try to get $. Sickening!

  2. Love him or hate him he was a musical genius. He may be gone to soon but his music will be forever. In classes 100 years from now students will be studying his music. He's become ever so immortal now with the likes of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Evita Peron, Karen Carpenter...
