Is Childhood Obesity Child Abuse?
Sign of the hard economic times - Procter & Gamble to phase out Max Factor in the US.

Ladies, if Max Factor is a staple in your cosmetics case, you’ll want to stock up now. Procter & Gamble, which owns the 100-year-old cosmetics brand, is phasing out distribution of Max Factor in the U.S. by early next year. P&G will shift the brand entirely to markets abroad where Max Factor sales have been the strongest.
Eddie Cibrian's Wife Confirms She's Left Him Over Affairs

Eddie Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville has left him, she confirms exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands Wednesday).
"Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," says Glanville, 36, mother of Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn[Rimes] deserve each other."
What is it with these Hollywood types? And Eddie, what were you thinking? Your wife is HOT HOT HOT and you cheating is so NOT NOT NOT! I kinda hate these male actors who just think that because they have some sort of sex appeal that they can just sleep or mess with anyone the like. If this is all true then I think Brandi should take him for all he is worth and be done with him.

Much Ado About Nothing @ The Messa Grill

I'm sure Bobby Flay is a nice guy and is rather good at cooking BUT my experience at Messa Grill last night was nothing near as divine. Talk about small portions and BIG prices. I've eaten at hole-in-the-wall's that have given me three times as much food for the price and sent me home with a doggy bag! The total bill for this meal with tip ran about $89.00 and I left feeling a bit hungry for real food.

Tyler Perry Sends Snubbed Kids to Disney World

This is another reason why I like Tyler Perry so much. Tyler is playing Santa to 65 Pennsylvania children from a largely minority day-care center whose outing was axed when they were turned away by a predominantly white swim club.
Instead of wading in the waters of the so-called exclusive Valley Swim Club in suburban Philly – whose members feared an influx of the black and Hispanic children, the adults were quoted as saying – these kids are going to Disney World, with Perry paying for the works: airfare, food, hotel and admissions for the three-day visit.
"He wanted to do something nice for them and let them know that for every negative experience, there are people out there who want them to succeed regardless of the color of their skin," Keleigh Thomas, publicist for the producer and Madea Goes to Jail star, tells CNN.
"I am ecstatic for the children," said Alethea Wright, the Creative Steps day-care center director, adding that the Perry offer came through on Friday.
As Perry said on his Web site about the actions of the Valley Swim Club, "This made me so angry. This is awful, and for anyone that has grown up in the inner-city, you know that one small act of kindness can change your life."
He added about the children, "I want them to know that for every act of evil that a few people will throw at you, there are millions more who will do something kind for them. This is all about the kids."
