As the Palin Turns: Levi to Sue for Custody of Tripp?

OK, it must be sweeps week up in Alaska because this soap opera is getting pretty stale. With Levi Johnston latest interview--last night on Larry King--I'm starting to lose whatever sympathy I had for the guy. The headline, I guess, is that Levi may sue for custody of his son. Emphasis on may. But it's hard to come away from this clip thinking much beyond, why the hell is this guy still doing interviews? How much money is he being paid to keep this up? Oh, actually, come to think of it, that pretty much answers the whole "why" question. Well, try to have fun, anyway.

What do you all think of today's "HOT MESS" topic?

  1. This almost seems like a family feud between grand parents . As the argument goes, "I want my grandchild to know me and our side of his family just as well as he knows the other side of his family".

Eventually, an agreeable balance is struck between the grandparents. Everyone goes to the ballgames and birthday parties, and it's Christmas with us and Thanksgiving with you. Next year, we flip Christmas and Thankgiving.

Believe me, grandpa and grandma Johnston are stoking this one along with grandpa and grandma Palin.

  2. I'm surprised Larry King is now on board with the Enquirer...what some will do for ratings, somewhat disappointed

  4. This is all an orchestrated attack on Sarah by the MSM and her political opponents. They are trying the smear and slander the Palin family and Levi Johnston is just a tool of their evil work. I would not be surprised if we found Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty behind this, or even Mike Huckabee behind these accusations. I only wish someone would track the money trail to see who is pushing and pulling the strings on this one.

  5. Lighten up buddy. This is just a drama being played out in public because Sara does not follow her daughters lead and stop fanning the flames.

  6. I hate the headline saying that Levi is suing for custody of the baby Tripp. I watched the interview with Larry King and he was pretty specific that he does not have a lawyer and any legal intervention would be a last resort. He wants access to his son and that is admirable. Of course Levi's mother was just arrested on drug charges so maybe that has something to do why Palins don't want him taking the baby out of their house. Let's just look at all sides. I am sorry that their troubles and differences are headline news. They are a couple of kids trying to work through a difficult situation. We should not cast stones on either of them. Let's just hope they can resolve their differences and lead happy lives with their child.

  7. Just another weekly episode of the 'Drama in Alaska'. This sopa opera is better than the 80's 'Dallas' TV series. I am now seeing a guy who is serioulsy attemptng to captialize on his association with the John McCain Mitake (CAP intended). Will America ever be rid of these pople?God forbid they end-up in Washignton DC

  8. Palin and her family did this to themselves. This is not a creation of the MSM nor any other political machine. Bristol and Levi were expecting the baby before the MSM knew them. This is just the kind of family the Palins have, the values they portray and the company they keep.

Also, Larry King will give a voice to any just for rating. He continues to allow Jennie McCartney on who has nothing intelligent to say.

  9. I think that the boy should have visitation rights but also have to agree about what type of family environment he can provide for the baby. His mother was arrested on drug charges so I could understand why the Palin's would not want the baby over there. Think of the media storm that would come should the mother be arrested again and the baby be there. If Levi is serious he will get a job and find a place of his own and pay something called "child support" for his child and get visitation rights. The baby's mother has every right to stipulate where he can be with the baby as well since his family isn't all that savory.
